Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to accelerate their search for a new forward this coming week, with the club considering another major transfer offer as their remarkable summer spending shows no sign of slowing.

Earlier in the week, we revealed that Eli Junior Kroupi had emerged as one of Spurs' leading attacking targets, and sources indicate he remains the player they are expected to prioritise.

The club have continued to assess the market over the past week, as links with AC Milan's Rafael Leao and Real Madrid's Endrick have also surfaced. There is truth to both rumours - but0Kroupi is viewed as a leading candidate.

We understand Bournemouth would demand in excess of 380 million to part with the highly-rated forward, and Tottenham have not been discouraged by that valuation.

Discussions over the structure of any deal would still need to be resolved, although there is growing confidence among those close to the situation that an agreement could be brought to life.

A new challenge could come in the shape of Paris Saint-Germain, who are also interested in the Bournemouth forward and have begun looking at him.

A move for Kroupi from Spurs would represent another statement of intent in what has already become one of the most ambitious transfer windows in the club's history.

Tottenham have already agreed an 385 million club-record deal with West Ham United for Mateus Fernandes, while Sandro Tonali is expected to follow from Newcastle United in a package anticipated to reach 3100 million.

Those arrivals come after Spurs strengthened their defence with the 352 million signing of Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton, while also adding Marcos Senesi, Andrew Robertson and Martin Dubravka on free transfers.

It marks a dramatic change in approach for a club that has spent the past two seasons battling towards the wrong end of the Premier League table.

But after appointing Roberto De Zerbi, Tottenham's hierarchy made it clear the Italian would receive significant backing to reshape the squad.

With midfield and defence already transformed, the focus is now turning to the attack, and another blockbuster move could soon be on the way.
