Man City agree deal to bring Sheffied Wednesday 'keeper Charles back to the club
Man City have reportedly agreed a deal with Sheffield Wednesday to bring young goalkeeper Pierce Charles back to the club.
The now 20-year-old left Man City’s academy to join Sheffield Wednesday back in 2021 in pursuit of first-team opportunities.
Charles has since made 36 appearances across his three seasons with the seniors, 19 of which came last season, with Wednesday relegated to League One.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Man City have now agreed a deal to bring Charles back across the Pennines and to the Etihad.
The move comes as reports suggest that current understudy to Gianluigi Donnarumma, James Trafford, is pushing for a move.
