Cristiano Ronaldo's sister has confirmed the Portugal forward will retire from international football after the 2026 World Cup.

Portugal face a tough test against Croatia in their World Cup round of 32 game in Toronto on Thursday (July 2).

There has been plenty of questions asked about whether they would be better off without Ronaldo, 41, in their side following a disappointing group stage for him.

According to his sister Katia, we won’t have to wait long to see as she has confirmed that he will retire from international football after the tournament.
