DONE DEAL: Juventus confirm signing of wonderkid Jeff Ekhator from Genoa

Juventus have confirmed the signing of young striker Jeff Ekhator from fellow Serie A side Genoa.

The 19-year-old broke into the Genoa first-team last season, scoring three goals in 30 Serie A appearances, nine of which were starts.

Ekhator has now become Juventus’ second signing of the summer following the permanent arrival of Jeremie Boga from French side Nice.

While Juventus have not confirmed the fee, Fabrizio Romano reported that the deal was struck for €16 million plus €2 million in add-ons.

Ekhator, regarded as one of the best young talents in Italian football, signed a five-year deal, keeping him at Juventus until 2031.
