Tottenham agree club record deal with Newcastle for Sandro Tonali

Tottenham have reportedly reached a club record agreement with Newcastle for the signing midfielder Sandro Tonali.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side are certainly having a busy summer transfer window, with Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi, and an 385 million deal for Mateus Fernandes in place.

Now, per The Athletic, Tottenham have agreed a club record deal to sign Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali.

Tottenham will pay an initial 392.5m for the Italy international with an additional 37.5m in proposed add-ons based on multiple Champions League qualifications.

Tonali has been a key player for Newcastle since joining from AC Milan, making 53 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring three goals.

A 12th placed Premier League finish for Eddie Howe’s side means they will be forced to sell players in order to adhere to PSR.
