Aston Villa have placed a staggering 3130 million valuation on Morgan Rogers as interest from Arsenal and Chelsea continues to grow.

According to The Telegraph, the club are determined to keep hold of their star man and have made it clear he will not be sold for anything less than their asking price, a figure that would break the British transfer record.

The 23-year-old England international, currently at the World Cup, has emerged as one of Europe’s most in-demand talents after a standout season.

Villa’s valuation would surpass the 3125m paid by Liverpool to Newcastle for Alexander Isak, with the club also influenced by Elliot Anderson’s 3116m move to Manchester City.

With a 20 per cent sell-on clause owed to Middlesbrough, Villa are protecting their long-term profit.

Despite strong interest, Rogers remains under contract until 2031, leaving Arsenal and Chelsea to weigh up a record-breaking bid.
