Man United and Spurs both 'in active talks' for West Ham's Mateus Fernandes

Man United and Tottenham are both reportedly in 'active talks' over a deal for West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes.

Fernandes, 21, is one of the most sought-after young midfielders in European football this summer following West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League.

According to talkSPORT journalist Ben Jacobs, United and Tottenham re both in ‘active talks’ to sign Fernandes.

While playing in the Champions League is said to be a priority for Fernandes, he is yet to decide on which club he would prefer to join.

West Ham are also holding out for their hefty 385 million asking price bolstered by a recent 390 million cash injection and interest from multiple suitors.
