Newcastle set to launch 373.5M bid for Felix Nmecha as Arsenal steal away Bruno Guimaraes

Newcastle are aiming to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha as transfer links over Bruno Guimaraes grow.

Newcastle have not received any official approach or had an offer for Guimaraes who had a 3100M minimum fee release in 2024 but reports this week revealed that Arsenal’s proposal of around 355M was rejected.

The Brazilian midfielder is not for sale this summer but Arsenal are sure to make an improved offer over the coming months, ahead of the new campaign where Newcastle do not have European football to offer the 28 year old.

Despite his not for sale sign, journalist Craig Hope has revealed that Newcastle are already looking at targets in a similar position which may suggest that Guimaraes could depart this summer.

Newcastle signed Guimaraes from Lyon for 340M and are seeking to double their money if he is to be sold.

Nmecha, just 25 years has had a number of impressive displays at the World Cup and has also been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks.
