Nana Kwaku Bonsam, has claimed responsibility for Harry Kane’s struggles in front of goal during England’s World Cup 0-0 draw with Ghana.

The renowned Ghanaian spiritualist claimed he placed a spell on the striker to protect his nation’s interests.

In a bizarre post-match claim, Bonsam said his intervention was the reason the England captain failed to score at a key moment in Boston.

He added that the spiritual work has now been completed, suggesting Kane’s scoring touch will return in upcoming matches for the Three Lions.

"I am the most powerful spiritualist in the whole world. Now, I am going to release Harry Kane so that, his next match, he can score. Harry, I will come and visit you. Don’t be offended. We are friends.," Bonsam said while performing a ritual and addressing Kane.
