Tottenham contact Real Madrid for youngster unwanted by Jose Mourinho

Tottenham have reportedly reached out to Real Madrid over a potential deal for young attacker Franco Mastantuono.

The 18-year-old only joined Real Madrid last summer, but following the departure of Xabi Alonso, struggled for first team minutes.

It’s been reported that new manager Mourinho doesn’t fancy Mastantuono at all for 2026-27 and would be willing to let him leave on loan.

According to Sport, Tottenham are keen on making it happen but will have to fight off significant interest.

Italian giants Inter and Juventus, as well as Portuguese sides Porto, Benfica, and Sporting are all interested in the youngster.

Villarreal, Rennes, and a potential return to River Plate have all been cited as potential destinations for Mastantuono.
