7M - Real Madrid Deny Transfer Communication With Michael Olise

Real Madrid have officially denied claims connecting them with a transfer move for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise. The Spanish side issued a statement clarifying that no direct or indirect communication has occurred with the player, his management, or his close associates.

Speculation grew after Real Madrid had a transfer offer rejected for Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez. The club has been reshaping its squad under returning head coach Jose Mourinho, already securing deals for Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, and Ibrahima Konate following a consecutive season without securing major titles. Club president Florentino Perez had previously committed to a 150 million Dollar budget for a marquee signing after winning the recent club elections.

Olise registered an impressive campaign for Bayern Munich during the 2025-24 season, contributing 15 goals and 19 assists to set a new Bundesliga record for a winger since data logging began in 2004-05. He also added 12 goal involvements in the Champions League during their double-winning year.

In their official release, Real Madrid emphasized their strong institutional relationship with Bayern Munich, noting that any potential interest in players would be managed directly between the two clubs rather than through outside speculation. Olise is currently participating in the World Cup with France, where he recently recorded an assist for Kylian Mbappe in a 3-1 opening victory against Senegal.
