Arsenal and Spurs target Marseille star Mason Greenwood

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Marseille forward Mason Greenwood during the summer transfer window.

According to L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 side are believed to be under pressure to raise funds in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, making the 24-year-old one of their most valuable potential departures.

Greenwood, who joined Marseille from Manchester United, is understood to be valued at around €80 million and has also attracted interest from Serie A side Roma.

Both North London rivals are keen to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season and could make formal approaches if Marseille decide to sell.

Manchester United also stand to benefit financially from any transfer after inserting a 40 percent sell-on clause into the agreement that took Greenwood to the French club.
