RB Leipzig confirm Ole Werner sacking as Martin Demichelis prepares to take over

RB Leipzig have confirmed the sacking of Ole Werner with Martin Demichelis expected to replace him at the helm.

The 38-year-old only joined RB Leipzig from Werder Bremen last season but has already been given the boot by the East German club.

Werner guided them to a third placed finish, taking them back to the Champions League after missing out in 2024-25.

Despite that, RB Leipzig have now confirmed that Werner, alongside coaches Tom Cichon and Patrick Kohlmann, have been relieved of their duties.

It’s not expected that Mallorca manager Martin Demichelis will come in as his replacement following their relegation from LaLiga.
