Real Madrid make Chelsea ace Enzo Fernandez priority midfield target

Real Madrid have reportedly made Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez their priority midfield target and want to get the deal done in similar fashion to the one that brought Marc Cucurella to the club.

Cucurella’s move to Real Madrid seemingly came out of nowhere, with the Spanish giants snapping him up for a €60 million fee.

According to Marca, Jose Mourinho’s side are hoping to also secure the services of Fernandez, 25, in similarly quick fashion.

The 2022 World Cup winner spent much of last season flirting with Real Madrid, even earning a two-match suspension for is comments.

Chelsea value Fernandez at 3120 million, and with the midfielder being contracted until 2032, are in the strong bargaining position.

It’s understood that while the club aren’t actively looking to sell Fernandez, they would be open to is should their asking price be met.
