Nigeria’s Friday Adams completes move to Romanian club Cluj

Romanian Superliga side Universitatea Cluj have confirmed the signing of Friday Adams.

The Nigerian winger joins from fellow Romanian club FC Botoșani, where he spent three seasons and made over 80 appearances across all competitions.

Adams began his career at the Ikon Allah Kaduna academy in Nigeria before his talent was spotted by Russian youth side FDC Vista.

His first major breakthrough came with Armenian club FC Noah, where he featured 35 times, scoring two goals and registering one assist.

Known for his work rate in both defensive and attacking phases, Adams quickly adapted to the demands of the Romanian top flight.
