Out of nowhere! Marc Cucurella set to leave Chelsea for Real Madrid

Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella is reportedly set to leave the club for Real Madrid with an agreement reached between all parties.

The 27-year-old had 0been linked with a return to Spain over the past few weeks, but It’s largely been to Atletico or Barcelona.

Cucurella even opened up about a conversation with incoming Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso, saying the fellow Spaniard gave him ‘confidence’ in the project.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, the left-back has agreed terms with Real Madrid and will now leave Chelsea.

It’s understood that new Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho was pushing to get the move done, and Cucurella will join after the World Cup.
