League One side Leicester are reportedly close to appointing former Rangers manager Russel Martin.

Just two seasons ago, Leicester were a Premier League side, but they’ve since suffered relegation to the Championship and now League One.

Leicester were handed a six-point deduction for breaching PSR, and although the club appealed the decision, it all but sealed their fate in 2025-26.

According to Fabrizio Romano, former Rangers manager Martin has been picked to replace Gary Rowett at Leicester.

The 40-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by the Scottish giants back in October, where he won just five of his 17 games.
