Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado accepts summer exit

Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado has reportedly reached an agreement with the club's sporting department to look for a move away this summer.

The 22-year-old started just ten of his 22 LaLiga games for Hansi Flick’s side last season as they secured a second consecutive title.

According to Marca, with the likes of Pedri, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, and Marc Bernal all ahead of him, Casado has agreed to look for a move away this summer.

It’s understood that Barcelona will demand a fee of €25 million for the defensive midfielder with the player privately acknowledging that his progress has stalled.

Ligue 1 side Monaco have been heavily linked with a move with Real Betis are said to view Casado as a dream target.
