Mateus Fernandes' transfer preference revealed as Man United and Real Madrid circle

West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes would reportedly prefer a move to Man United over any other side this summer.

The 21-year-old is one of the most sought-after young midfielders in Europe despite West Ham’s dismal season.

West Ham are demanding a fee of around 385 million to sell Fernandes as they desperately seek to raise funds following their relegation.

According to journalist Shaun Connolly, Fernandes has given his preference to Man United this summer as negotiations between the two clubs continue.

Reports from Spain have recently claimed that new Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is pushing the club to sign Fernandes.
