Liverpool and PSG target Akliouche confirms Monaco exit after World Cup
Monaco playmaker Maghnes Akliouche has confirmed he will likely leave the club this summer with PSG and Liverpool said to be interested.
The 24-year-old has been a key player for Monaco for the past three seasons, scoring seven goals and providing 10 assists in 43 games in 2025-26.
Akliouche’s fine form has made him one of the most sought after young players in French football and earned him a place in Didier Deschamps’s squad for the World Cup.
Speaking to Nice-Matin before making the trip to the US, the playmaker admitted that this summer will likely be his last as a Monaco player.
"Will the next step be a transfer this summer? Yes, but frankly, I'm really focused on this World Cup,” he said.
Both Liverpool and PSG have previously been linked with a move for Akliouche.
