Former Man Utd star Anthony Martial parts ways with Rayados

Anthony Martial and Liga MX giants Rayados have mutually agreed to terminate the forward’s contract with immediate effect.

The 30-year-old was once regarded as one of French football’s brightest talents when he joined Manchester United from Monaco in 2015, but his spell in Mexico has failed to reignite his career.

Martial made just 20 appearances for Rayados in all competitions, registering one goal and three assists during his time at the club.

His impact was limited as the team endured a difficult 2026 Clausura campaign, finishing 13th and missing out on the playoffs.

With the agreement now finalised, Martial becomes a free agent and is expected to explore new opportunities this summer as he looks to revive his career and find a fresh start elsewhere in professional football.
