"I have loved..." - Liverpool and PSG target Yan Diomande makes clear transfer hint

Yan Diomande appears to have dealt Liverpool's hopes of signing him a major blow, saying "I have loved PSG since I was a kid."

Diomande, 19, is regarded as one of the best young attacking talents in Europe, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists in his 36 games for RB Leipzig.

It’s been widely reported that Diomande is Liverpool’s preferred option to replace legendary winger Mohamed Salah this summer.

He has also been linked with a move to European champions PSG, however, and from what he recently said, it’s clear they are his priority.

In an interview transcribed by L’Equipe, he added, “I have loved PSG since I was a kid but I am not looking ahead to my future. I am staying focused on the World Cup, then we will see.”
