PSG close in on €25m move for Russian talent Batrakov

Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on the signing of highly rated Russian midfielder Aleksey Batrakov.

According to reports, negotiations between PSG and Lokomotiv Moscow are in the final stages, with the transfer expected to be completed soon.

Batrakov's representative, Dmitry Cheltsov, has indicated that discussions between the two clubs have progressed positively, while the Parisian’s sporting advisor Luis Campos is reportedly working to finalise the details of a deal worth around €25 million.

"It is a grand time to say that at 95%, Batrakov will join PSG. The leaders of PSG and Lokomotiv have already had more than 10 telephone exchanges. This week, Campos will travel to Moscow to finalise the transfer. At present, it would take an act of God to prevent this transaction: €25m for the transfer, about €5 to €6m for the salary," the agent revealed.

The 20-year-old is viewed as a perfect fit for Enrique’s project, thanks to his versatility. Batrakov enjoyed a standout campaign with Lokomotiv Moscow, registering 17 goals and 13 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
