Marcus Rashford continues to push for Barcelona stay despite Anthony Gordon deal

Marcus Rashford is reportedly still doing everything he can to secure a permanent move to Barcelona despite the signing of Anthony Gordon.

The 28-year-old joined Hansi Flick’s side on loan from Man United last summer, with Barcelona having a 326 million option to buy included in the deal.

Rashford managed to rediscover his form at the club, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in his 49 games.

Barcelona have now confirmed the signing of Gordon from Newcastle for a reported €80 million, however, putting a permanent move for Rashford in serious doubt.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Rashford is still pushing for the move and is ready to exhaust all possible options to make it happen.

It’s previously been reported that Rashford has agreed personal terms with the club and is willing to take a hefty pay cut.
