Alvarez's agent set to meet with Atletico Madrid after Barcelona trolling

Julian Alvarez's agent will reportedly have a meeting with Atletico Madrid following their bizarre social media posts aimed at Barcelona.

Alvarez, 26, has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona as they search for their Robert Lewandowski replacement.

Barcelona are understood to have made a €100 million offer for the forward, a bid that Atletico promptly turned down.

Atletico then took to social media to vent their frustrations, with their official account making several posts trolling their LaLiga rivals.

According to Indykaila, Alvarez’s agent Fernando Hidalgo has arranged a meeting with the club in a bid to try and smooth over the player’s relationship with Atletico.

Alvarez is still keen on the move, however, and is hoping the two parties can come to an agreement that will benefit everyone.
