Kevin De Bruyne Relaxes In Ibiza Ahead Of World Cup

Football star Kevin De Bruyne and his wife Michele Lacroix were spotted enjoying a relaxing, sunny getaway on the Balearic Island of Ibiza. The longtime couple cooled off from the scorching temperatures by going for a swim in the sea near the trendy beach club Casa Jondal.

The 34-year-old former Manchester City icon, who now plays for Italian side Napoli, showed off a fit physique in grey swim shorts and black sunglasses. Beside him, 32-year-old Michele wore a studded black bikini as she entered the water, at one point holding onto her husband's arm for support.

Ibiza is a frequent vacation destination for the Belgian pair during international breaks and the offseason. In fact, De Bruyne was once spotted partying on the island with Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk back in 2022.

This summer vacation offers a much-needed rest for the midfielder after a demanding, injury-plagued debut season in Naples. Due to a hamstring injury, he was restricted to just 21 appearances across all competitions. Following this break, De Bruyne is scheduled to represent Belgium at the 2026 World Cup, where their group stage campaign begins against Egypt on June 15, followed by matches against Iran on June 21 and New Zealand on June 26.

Both originally from Belgium, De Bruyne and Michele first started dating in 2014 during his time playing in Germany for Wolfsburg. They later tied the knot in 2017 and share three children together: sons Mason Milian and Rome, and a daughter named Suri.
