7M - Jose Mourinho Agrees Real Madrid Return Until 2029

Jose Mourinho has reportedly finalized and signed a contract to become the new manager of Real Madrid, paving the way for his highly anticipated takeover.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, the 63 year old Portuguese tactician, who is currently managing Benfica, has officially put pen to paper. President Florentino Perez had earmarked Mourinho as his top choice to succeed Alvaro Arbeloa following a highly disappointing conclusion to Real Madrid's season.

This multi year agreement will secure Mourinho's position at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2029. The former Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Manchester United boss is expected to be formally announced by the club after the upcoming presidential elections, which are scheduled for June 7.
