VinDcius Junior has lavished praise on Lamine Yamal ahead of the upcoming World Cup, claiming the Barcelona sensation has the talent to “win the tournament single-handedly” for Spain.

Despite the fierce rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona, Vini put club loyalties aside to acknowledge the teenager’s extraordinary ability during an interview with Caze TV.

"Spain have Lamine Yamal, who is one of the best players in the world. He does incredible things on the pitch. He is a player who can win the World Cup single-handedly. He is one of those players you pay to watch play," Vini said.

Yamal has rapidly established himself as one of world football’s brightest stars, finishing second in the 2025 Ballon d’Or rankings after another sensational campaign.

The Spanish winger has already registered 49 goals and 52 assists in 151 appearances for Barcelona, while contributing 24 goals and 18 assists this season alone.
