Estevao set to miss Chelsea's pre-season as injury return date revealed

Chelsea winger Estevao is reportedly going to miss pre-season under new manager Xabi Alonso due to his hamstring injury.

The 18-year-old missed Chelsea’s run-in after picking up a serious hamstring injury just 16 minutes into their 1-0 defeat to Man United.

Estevao’s injury meant he missed out on a call-up to Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad for what could have been his first World Cup.

According to ESPN Brazil, he is now expected to miss the entirety of Chelsea’s pre-season under new manager Alonso.

It’s understood that he is also likely to miss the start of the 2026-27 season, but should be safe to return in early August.
