Man City told they will have to pay record fee for Elliot Anderson

Nottingham Forest have reportedly informed Man City that it will take a recording breaking fee to sign midfielder Elliot Anderson.

Anderson, 23, has hand a real breakout season, making 50 appearances across all competitions for Nottingham Forest and establishing himself as an England Regular.

The defensive midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Man City, but Forest won’t be letting him leave on the cheap.

According to BBC Sport, City are leading the race to sign Anderson, but it will cost more that the 3105 million Arsenal paid for Declan Rice.

That is the current record fee for a British player and such an ask has put rivals Man United off of pursuing a deal.
