Despite a shaky start to qualifying, Germany eventually secured a spot in the World Cup finals in the USA, Canada and Mexico. They underlined their credentials with a 6-0 home thrashing of Slovakia in their final qualifier. Coach Julian Nagelsmann's side then learned their three group opponents in Washington. What remains before the tournament begins?

The national team has just two more friendly matches scheduled before next year's World Cup. Germany will face Finland in Mainz on 31 May, before taking on hosts the USA in Houston shortly before the tournament kicks off. Their first group match at the World Cup is against Curaçao on 14 June at 7 pm.

RTL will broadcast the USA friendly, while ZDF has the rights to the Finland game. 

Both games are also streamed: RTL+ requires a paid subscription, whereas the ZDF stream is free.
