Brentford join Brighton and Chelsea in race for German sensation Said El Mala

Brentford have reportedly joined Brighton and Chelsea in the race for German wonderkid Said El Mala.

El Mala, 19, has enjoyed a real breakout season for FC Koln, scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in his 36 games.

The winger’s exploits have caught the attention of Premier League duo Chelsea and Brighton, with Koln looking for around €50 million to sell.

According to the Daily Mail, high flying Brentford have also entered the race to sign him in the upcoming summer window.

It would certainly be a sign of major ambition from the Bees, who are on course to qualify for Europe for the first time in their history.
