7M - Eight Nominees Revealed For Premier League Player Of The Season

The Premier League has officially announced the eight nominees for the 2025/26 Player of the Season award.

Arsenal leads the selections with three players: defender Gabriel, midfielder Declan Rice, and goalkeeper David Raya. Raya has already secured his third Golden Glove with 18 clean sheets this term. Gabriel has been pivotal to the league's best defense, while Rice has created 63 chances for the title contenders.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is a top contender after winning the FWA Footballer of the Year. He has recorded eight goals and 19 assists, nearly breaking the single-season assist record.

Manchester City is represented by Erling Haaland, who leads the Golden Boot race with 26 goals, and Antoine Semenyo, who joined the club in January after a strong start at Bournemouth.

Rounding out the list are Brentford striker Igor Thiago, who has netted 22 goals following his recovery from injury, and Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, who has enjoyed a career-best season with 13 goals.
