7M - Inter Milan Clinch 10th Coppa Italia Title at Stadio Olimpico

Inter Milan secured their first domestic double since 2010 by defeating SS Lazio 2-0 in the Coppa Italia final. Under the guidance of manager Cristian Chivu, the Nerazzurri claimed their 10th trophy in the competition, dominating the match held at Rome's Stadio Olimpico.

The deadlock was broken in the 14th minute when Federico Dimarco's corner deflected off Marcus Thuram and Adam Marusic, resulting in an own goal. Inter doubled their lead before halftime as Denzel Dumfries intercepted a pass from Nuno Tavares and assisted Lautaro Martinez for a clinical close-range finish. Despite a spirited restart from Lazio, including a narrow miss by Tijjani Noslin, Inter maintained control to see out the victory.

The result marks Inter as the first club since 2018 to win both Serie A and the Coppa Italia in the same season. While Inter celebrates their historic achievement, Lazio remains outside the European qualification spots, facing their first potential bottom-half finish in 16 years.
