Saudi clubs prepare blockbuster offer for Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski is reportedly edging closer to a sensational departure from Barcelona amid growing interest from the Saudi Pro League.

According to reports, Al Hilal have submitted a formal offer to the veteran striker and are increasingly confident of securing his signature this summer.

The Riyadh-based side are said to have offered Lewandowski a staggering €90 million-per-season contract, potentially making it the most lucrative deal of his career.

Despite interest from clubs such as Juventus, AC Milan and Chicago Fire FC, Al Hilal are viewed as favourites in the race.

A move could also ease Barcelona’s financial pressures, with Lewandowski among the club’s highest earners. If completed, the Poland international would join a star-studded Al Hilal squad managed by Simone Inzaghi.
