Jose Mourinho lays down two conditions for Real Madrid return

Jose Mourinho has reportedly told Real Madrid he's open to returning, but only if his two conditions are met.

Real Madrid’s season has descended into chaos, with Barcelona securing the La Liga title with their 2-0 El Clasico win on Sunday (May 10).

Alvaro Arbeloa is set to leave the club at the end of the season, and Benfica manager Mourinho, 63, is the favourite to take over.

According to AS, Mourinho is keen on returning to the Santiago Bernabeu, but only if his two conditions are met.

The first is that he has a greater say in recruitment regarding the positions that need strengthening rather than just individual names.

The second is that he and his coaching staff be left to do their jobs without interference from the board.
