Alex Iwobi to miss Fulham’s crucial Bournemouth encounter

Marco Silva has confirmed that Alex Iwobi will miss Fulham’s Premier League clash against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Nigeria international has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and has already missed Fulham’s last three league matches.

Silva revealed that Iwobi has not yet fully recovered and will remain unavailable for the encounter at Craven Cottage as Fulham continue their push for European qualification.

“Ryan Sessegnon, Alex Iwobi, they are going to be out of the game,”he confirmed.

“We had a difficult week with one or two. We have to keep assessing every single day.

“Sander is through the illness, but he's been the one that is suffering a little bit more. He felt something in the week of Brentford, was one of the reasons why he was not recovered for Villa, and last week he had probably a bigger one, and it’s had an impact on him.”
