Atletico Madrid reignite interest in 325 million Brighton ace Matt O'Riley

Atletico Madrid have reportedly reignited their interest in Brighton midfielder Matt O'Riley.

Diego Simeone’s side were keen on signing the 25-year-old while he was at Celtic, but he ultimately ended up at Brighton for a Scottish record sale of 325 million.

O’Reily has been sparingly used by Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler, however, making just four appearances since returning from his loan at Marseille in February.

According to Sky Sports, Atletico are back in for O’Reily as they seek to bolster their midfielder this summer.

It’s understood that other La Liga clubs along with sides in the Serie A are also keen on signing O’Reily.
