Real Madrid seek to open new contract talks with Tchouameni

Real Madrid are eager to hold onto Aurelien Tchouameni.

The France midfielder has been linked with Manchester United and Liverpool in recent weeks.

But Foot Mercato says Real Madrid want to extend the player's contract and they are considering also increasing his salary.

Tchouam9ni is currently on a deal with Real Madrid until the summer of 2028.

The France international has previously played for Monaco and Bordeaux.

Real Madrid is currently in second place in La Liga, eleven points behind leaders Barcelona.
