Man Utd boss Carrick eager to welcome back Dorgu
Manchester United boss Michael Carrick is confident Patrick Dorgu will play again this season.
Dorgu hasn’t featured since suffering a muscle injury at Arsenal in January.
“Patrick's looking to get back closer to the group in a very small part, which is fantastic, because he's worked so hard over a period of time now,” Carrick told MUTV.
“So it'll be good to have him back in and around the group within the next week or so.”
United are back in Premier League action on Monday at home against Brentford.
“They're a very good team, I have to say,” he added.
“Keith's (Andrews) done an unbelievable job this season and in so many different ways, you know. He needs a lot of credit for that.
“They’re right up there challenging, it’s really tight. There’s a lot to play for, but they’re a good team and make it really difficult.
“It’s a big challenge for us. They’ve got some really good players and are very dangerous going forward, so we’re going to have to be ready for that.”
