Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeness breaks silence on Real Madrid links

Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeness has responded to reports linking him with the Real Madrid job.

According to The Athletic, Alvaro Arbeloa is expected to leave Real Madrid in the summer following their elimination from the Champions League.

It’s understood that the Spanish giants are now drawing up a shortlist of potential replacements, including Stuttgart’s Hoeness.

Speaking ahead of their DFB Pokal semi-final against Freiburg on Thrusday (April 23), Hoeness wasn’t giving much away.

"That doesn't really bother me," he said, adding that he was instead "focused on the final stages" of the season.
