Morocco is stepping up its preparations for the 2026 World Cup, adding a second friendly fixture to its June calendar.
The United States, Canada, and Mexico will host the final stage of the 2026 World Cup, which is set to run from June 11 to July 19.
Morocco to face El Salvador and Norway as World Cup build-up intensifies
As part of their build-up, head coach Mohamed Ouahbi's men will take on El Salvador in a friendly on June 3, at Northwest Stadium in the United States, during the upcoming international break.
The announcement was made by the president of the Salvadoran Football Federation, Yamil Bukele, via his official account on the "X" platform.
Bukele emphasized that this clash will serve as a crucial part of El Salvador's preparations, while also providing Morocco with a high-level test ahead of the global showdown.
Meanwhile, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has also scheduled a second friendly against Norway, set for June 7 at the Sports Illustrated Stadium (Red Bull Arena) in Harrison, New Jersey.
