Man City prepare opening bid for Chelsea target Conceicao

Manchester City are battling Chelsea for Palmeiras striker Eduardo Conceicao.

Palmeiras rate the youngster at €100m.

However, The Times says the Brazilian giants are willing to negotiate for more realistic terms for the 16 year-old.

City are expected to soon lodge a bid, though for the moment there's no indication at what price they rate Conceicao.

Along with Chelsea, PSG are also keen on the attacker, though City do have an edge thanks to the business they've conducted with Palmeiras in recent years.

Any deal will be settled with a view to the long-term as Conceicao would not be eligible to move to Europe until January 2028 due to FIFA regulations.
