Napoli keen on ex-Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca as Antonio Conte replacement

Napoli are reportedly keen on bringing former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca to the club if Antonio Conte leave to take the Italy job.

The 56-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to the Italian national team following their failure to qualify for their third successive World Cup.

It’s understood that Napoli won’t stand in the way of Conte if he wants to take the job and are planning for life without him.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli are eyeing a move for former Chelsea boss Maresca as Conte’s potential successor.

Fiorentina attempted to lure Maresca to the Serie A earlier in the season but were ultimately turned down by the 46-year-old.

It has been reported that Maresca is holding out for the Man City job, with Guardiola possibly leaving in the near future.
