Bayern Munich ace Musiala determined to make World Cup

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala is determined to be fully fit for Germany's World Cup campaign.

After the win for Bayern Munich against St Pauli (0-5), the 22-year-old made it clear to Sky Sports that his presence at the World Cup is non-negotiable, firmly responding to Oliver Kahn's recent doubts about his physical condition.

The midfielder is going through a moment of uncertainty in Germany due to his latest physical problems, which had generated debate about his real weight in coach Julian Nagelsmann's plans.

However, Musiala was blunt about the suggestion of withdrawing from the national team: "I want to go to the World Cup at all costs.

"I haven't read what Kahn said, but my intention is to be there."

Musiala is now working towards full match fitness after returning from a serious leg fracture suffered in the Club World Cup last summer.
