Di Canio urges AC Milan to drop Leao contract talks
Former AC Milan striker Paolo di Canio has taken a swipe at Rafael Leao.
Di Canio feels the Milan attacker's development has long stalled.
He told Il Corriere della Sera: "Continuing to focus on Leao would mean missing the point of the team. Why renew a player who was stronger at 21 than he is now at 26?
"A player who's still on fashion shows? He's always injured, recovers late, and who knows why.
"Milan wins and performs well without him; they're a cohesive team. Do you want to start from there or with someone who does what he wants and also demands to be pampered?
"I wouldn't have any doubts."
