Neuer ponders new contract talks with Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer says he's calm about new contract talks.

After his impressive Champions League performance at the Bernab9u against Real Madrid, Neuer, at 40 years old, is eager for more and hasn't ruled out a possible contract renewal with Bayern Munich.

"There are many factors to consider, including my health," he said.

"Unfortunately, I've been sidelined twice with calf injuries in recent months. That hasn't helped, but the club and I have all the time in the world and we're relaxed.

"I enjoy playing with this team and working with this coaching staff."

Neuer was outstanding as Bayern won 2-1 in Madrid for the first-leg of their Champions League quarterfinal.
