Arsenal prioritising 'top young centre-back' in summer transfer window

Arsenal are reportedly prioritising a move for a 'top young centre-back' in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Mikel Arteta’s side are looking to bolster their defensive line once again this summer, focussing on a deal for a "top young centre-back".

According to CaughtOffside, Como defender Jacobo Ramon, 21, is of particular interest, although former club Real Madrid have a buy-back option for the centre-back.

Arsenal are also keeping tabs on Real’s Victor Valdepenas and have sent their scouts to watch the 19-year-old several times.

London rivals Chelsea are also interested in signing Ramon as part of their youth focussed transfer policy.
