Shock club make move to sign Chelsea ace Alejandro Garnacho

River Plate are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho on loan in the summer.

The 21-year-old swapped Old Trafford for Stamford Bridge last summer but has struggled to nail down a place in Chelsea’s starting eleven.

Garnacho has had some good moments, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in 37 games, but could already be set to leave West London.

According to TyC Sports journalist Gonzalo Carol, River Plate manager Eduardo Coudet has reached out to Garnacho over a potential loan to River Plate.

The report adds that Chelsea would be open to sending him on loan to the Argentinian giants for a year, although it remains to be seen whether the player is willing.
