7M - Shane Kluivert Extends Barcelona Deal Through 2028

Eighteen year old Dutch forward Shane Kluivert has committed his future to FC Barcelona by signing a contract extension running through June thirty 2028. The son of former Barcelona striker Patrick Kluivert finalized the agreement at the Joan Gamper Training Ground alongside club youth directors Jose Ramon Alexanco and Andres Manzano.

Kluivert is recognized for his versatility across all attacking roles. Despite receiving interest from Ajax the La Masia graduate chose to remain with Barcelona where he will complete eleven seasons by the time his new deal concludes.

This season Kluivert has split time between the U19 A squad and Barça Atletic. He earned his official debut for the reserve side on October nineteen 2025 under coach Belletti during a three two away loss to Atletic Lleida.

Club methodology head Sergi Mila also attended the signing underscoring Barcelonas confidence in Kluiverts long term potential within the clubs youth development pathway.
